Nickelodeon child actor crashes out, reveals bleak reality of residual checks from sitcom

Tedmori, 37, warned social media followers earlier this week about a “crashout incoming” as she sifted through residual checks from her time on the popular kids’ sitcom, “Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide.”
“POV: You were on a TV show 20 years ago and a random envelope still shows up in your mailbox,” she captioned a video before revealing the paltry sum.
“Time to open my latest Ned’s Declassified residual checks,” Tedmori wrote. “Residual checks are one of those weird parts of being a child actor that people are always curious about, so I figured I’d open them with you.”
She added, “Who’s ready to find out if I’m buying coffee… or a yacht?”
Holding a thick stack of unopened mail, Tedmori explained her woes with the television world.
“I have been procrastinating opening this for months because it is a b—-h,” she told her followers. “Some of these could be a penny, some of these could be $5.”
After opening a piece of mail and detailing the episode she was receiving the check for, Tedmori revealed a two-cent paycheck.
“All of two cents,” she said. “See. All this paper I’m just littering in my car … I know, hard times. The economy is s— … keep it. I don’t want it.”

Tedmori continued opening mail where she received a .63 cent check, and another check for “video projects and school clubs” returned a three-cent check.
“Don’t come for me about throwing away a nickel,” she urged her followers. “Now I get it. It’s been a long time. I’m surprised I’m getting anything. But three cents? It costs you 75 cents to send this envelope.”

She added, “The way its adding up … the math ain’t f—ing mathing.” One check for $1.11 was from “over 20 years ago” when Tedmori appeared in an episode of “90210.”
After opening checks for 68 cents, 87 cents, 36 cents, 45 cents, two for three cents, three for 81 cents and two for $1.01, the actress revealed her earnings.

“So for ‘Ned’s Declassified,’ that earned me a grand total of $8.63,” she said while holding a microphone in her car. “With ‘90210,’ $30.06. Maybe I can go buy a coffee at Starbucks.”
She added, “Do I even report this to the IRS? They’re not even going to give a f—.”
